We are a community, advocating convenient and free communication among all members, including colleges, businesses, and individuals. The efforts of our members further the cause of free and better telecommunication. Phone service on the Internet should be just like e-mail—FREE! All of the technology to make this possible is here, but this technology means nothing without the effort to bring it forth. So join us!
Memberships:
7 Day Free Trial
When you register for a 7 day free trial, you receive all the privileges of Charter members for 7 days. Once your account is established, you can download the CodecPhone software right away, and start talking!
Pioneer members:
Pioneer members lead the CodecPhone club to promote and expand the concept of free communication. They are the champions of this telecommunication community which stands to lower the costs of all calling services. If you like a little challenge, and choose to become a Pioneer member, these would be your responsibilities and privileges:
- As a Pioneer (trial) member, you receive 30 days of free service.
- During the first 7 days, you must recruit at least one paying Charter Member in order to continue to use your Pioneer account.
- During the remaining 23 days, you must recruit 9 more paying Charter members, which makes for a total of 10.
- As soon as you have recruited 10 Charter members, you will gain free membership for a total of one year, starting from the time you've signed up.
- For every Charter member you recruit, 6 dollars are added to your Virtual Bank account. If you receive full Pioneer status, you start off with 60 dollars in your account.
- You can cash out any time, as long as you have at least 60 dollars in your account.
- If you do not meet your quota of 10 recruits within 30 days, and 1 recruit in the first 7 days, you'll be prompted to register as a paying Charter member when your Pioneer (trial) membership expires. All rewards if any, will be retained in your Virtual Bank account, and only full members (Pioneer and Charter) have the ability to cash out.
- REMEMBER: When recruiting Charter members or other Pioneer members, make sure that they use YOUR Reference Number when they register. Otherwise, we'll have no way to credit you. For more information on CPC Rewards, visit the Rewards page
- Along with free membership and more rewards for recruiting, Pioneer members are encouraged to help their fellow members, (Charters and Pioneers) with installing their software, if such help is sought (however the software and the installation are very simple and self-explanatory)
- Purchase of EMC card (see below)
Charter Members:
Charter members are the citizens of the CodecPhone Club. Together, they strengthen our community, and they trully put the force, and the manpower which is needed to make our concept of free communication a reality.
- Charter members much like Pioneer members can also recruit other Charter members AND Pioneer members
- For each Paying member recruited, 5 dollars will be credited to your Virtual Bank account.
- REMEMBER: When recruiting Charter members OR Pioneer members, make sure they use YOUR Reference Number. Otherwise, we'll have no way to credit you. For more information on CPC Rewards, visit the Rewards page.
- Charter members, like Pioneer members also have the option of ordering an Electronic Membership Card, for an extra small fee.
EMC (Electronic Membership Card):
This card allows you to use our services at any Internet connected computer without the need to download the software. The EMC card is about the same size as a business card, except that it's a mini-CD which works with all CD drives, and fits in your wallet. No matter where you go or where you are, you can install CodecPhone, and use it any time.
